Why am I receiving a lab bill?
Before calling our billing department please call the lab and verify whether the statement is the result of the claim being applied to your deductible or coinsurance. If they inform you that your services were denied please ask them which codes were denied and the reason for the denial. We can then assist further if your plan is missing information needed to process your claim.

Why am I receiving a bill?
There are several reasons you might receive a bill. Once your insurance has processed your claim they notify us if they applied any portion of the service to your deductible, co-insurance or out of pocket maximum. If we are billing you for these items and you don’t think your insurance carrier processed it correctly please contact your carrier by calling the number on the back of your card.
What is my OB prepay for?
After your first OB visit we query your insurance company for your benefits. They help us to estimate your out-of-pocket responsibility for your OB care and delivery. We will share that estimate with you and we ask that it be paid in full by your 32nd week. You will be billed separately for any ultrasounds, labs, injections and other additional services as they are rendered.
